The Chicago Children's Museum Chair was originally commissioned for use in the Chicago Children's Museum on Navy Pier. This is a heavy-duty chair that was designed to delight and at the same time withstand the abuse of the thousands of kids (and adults) who have sat, stood, climbed, crawled, relaxed, and jumped on it for the 8 years that it has been in use there.

This original version is shown here upholstered with reused leather.
It is also available upholstered in pretty much any material (reused or new) that you can think of.

The frame is constructed of chromed-steel bicycle rims and handlebars.
