The B3 chair prototype is a modular assembly of commercially available components (bicycle handlebars, stems, wood seat) and one custom fabricated component (the piece that the connects the base to the seat). The components can be changed with other commercially available or fabricated components to create a chair of a different height, or made into a barstool, bench, or table.
