s-6 barstool - bicycle wheel
The S-6 Barstool is constructed of chromed steel bicycle rims that have been uniformly contoured before welding. We use recycled rims when possible, but we are also using new rims.
Available with commercial-grade vinyl cushions or inner-tubes, or a combination of both.
Seat height is approximately 28” for this version, but we can make it as 26. Width is 22", and depth is also 22". Seat diameter is 16”
We also offer this design in 30”-32” heights.
The S-6 Barstool is named after the formidable S-6 rim, which was produced by the Schwinn Bicycle Company and was used on their tank-like, and ubiquitous Varsity model.
We also make a matching table.

When Marquette's Lower Harbor froze over in 2003, I had to move quick to take photos because the barstool kept blowing across the ice.
