The S-6 Barstool is constructed of chromed steel bicycle rims that have been uniformly contoured before welding. We use recycled rims when possible, but we are also using new rims.

This listing is for cushions that are upholstered in black vinyl, but this barstool is also available with cushions made with other colors or materials, including leather or inner-tubes.

Seat height is approximately 28”, but we can make it as 26" at customer's request. Width is 22", and depth is also 22". Seat diameter is 16”

The S-6 Barstool is named after the formidable S-6 rim, which was produced by the Schwinn Bicycle Company and was used on their tank-like, and ubiquitous Varsity model.

This happens to be my first barstool design and also my favorite. All of the rims used on this piece are intact, with no cuts made.
